They also are joyful in their barking. They bark at squirrels, strangers, in play. They bark just to bark. Sheltie and Collie breeders are not criminals and drug dealers! WebThey grew up on a medium trafficed street and anything that went by the front window at least a dozen barks followed. As your Sheltie grows and their training continues the barking becomes easier to control. Around their 10th year we moved to a quiet dead end street and the dogs calmed entirely. Shelties are amazing!
