WebJan 19, 2015 · Meaning the bottom of the box should be the lowest point in the whole pond? I assumed we would dig it out about a foot below the pond floor before setting the box. That's why I went 36 inches tall. I was thinking only the top 24 inches would be above pond floor height. Basically, the top of the pipe would be level with the pond floor... Then use a rubber gasket (kind of wedged edge). Place on top piece to account for whatever height you'll need. Place top piece in bottom and tap it tight.
